My Angel

I will start by saying that this is a very sweet subject and your drawing overall is great. You did a wonderful job with the emotion and capturing the essence of an adorable little girl. You have a good knowledge of the proportions of a child's face and worked well with the different values. You did well making her mouth look natural, a lot of people have difficulty with smiling mouths and having the teeth look strange.

Once thing you could work on, however, is getting a wider range of values by deepening shadows and bringing out the highlights more in order to give the picture some more depth. The hair, although you did very well on the form, could have a wider range of values. You could also adjust the hands a bit. The proportions of the fingers on the hand on the left are slightly skewed.

But overall, I really like this picture and think you did a wonderful job. Nice work!
